What is Unplugged?
Unplugged is our annual Poetry Slam & Open Mic night. Unplugged was developed to support the creative minds and talent of our Muslim communities. Few avenues exist for Muslim poets and artists, and we'd like to challenge that.

Unplugged first took place at UTSA in February 2019, with a special performance by Zainab Mabizari (@thezmab). Since then, Unplugged has traveled to Houston and the virtual space, with special performances by Youssef Kromah, Muhammad Khaerisman, Amal Kassir, and more!
